On the beach.

We had an amazing trip to California to celebrate Brad and Jennifer's wedding. It started off in Santa Cruz where we went to the boardwalk and road the two big roller coasters and got lunch on the boardwalk. Then, we drove down to Monterey in our Jeep Wrangler and then on to Carmel for some shopping and an amazing dinner. Our drive down Highway One was spectacular with Jeremy stopping often with exclamations of awe. As night time hit, we cut inward and landed ourselves at our rental house in Paso Robles where we met up with our friends, Brian and Chrissy. In Paso Robles, we had days filled with wine tasting and shopping. We spent a day in San Luis Obispo (SLO) that consisted of riding our Jeep onto the beach, a street fair and more eating. We also got to meet up with Brad and Jennifer for the first time. We had the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and then the wedding. Back up the coast we drove with Brian and Chrissy - stopping for lunch and barely making our flight out of town. To be fee of kids for the week and drive around with the top down felt so free, and we were able to really just enjoy one another. Our kids had fun too, phrasing it perfectly when we called, "I miss you, but I'm having a lot of fun here."
